There is a need for trained pastors

Only 5% of current pastors have any formal training.  Most of the 5% live in Westernized countries.

This means 1 trained pastor for every 450,000 believers

GLOBAL IMPACT OF 4THEWORD

Over 3000 Pastors and leaders have been trained through Taste and See workshops.  Participants are given an essential understanding of scripture, which brings motivation and commitment to rightly divide the Word.  Bible study principles and methods give them the tools to study and teach the Word accurately.
225 pastors are in the 4 year comprehensive training program which amounts to a 30 hour masters level program.  Additional training in pastoral outcomes assures that the head, heart and hands are all being impacted.  The Holy Spirit is given opportunity to transform pastors into Christ-like shepherds and not just educated professionals.

We have 36 2T2  (2 Timothy 2:2) students in an apprentice program which equips them to start 2nd generation training groups with 26 pastors in each group.  We are excited that our 2T2 Nairobi team has launched the very first 2nd Gen group!
4TheWord has distributed thousands of Bible Study documents, thousands of course books and a good study Bible to every pastor in the first and second generations training.  
Currently we have US based Champion Churches actively involved and invested in the training programs.   Moving forward it's our goal to onboard a Champion Church for every training group we start.
